The hike
Suggested by fellow hiker Monika, this long, beautiful hike will take you to new heights!
Departing from the manufacturing village of Klingenthal, set off to discover the summit of the Heidenkopf and its 17m-high Mündel Tower. Climb to the top for a 360° panorama and a glimpse of the other milestone on the route, Mont Sainte-Odile. To reach it, simply descend gradually into the Ehn valley and climb back up to the Sanctuary. Along the way, you'll come across a number of interesting heritage sites. On the way back, you'll pass along the Pagan Wall to the Châteaux d'Ottrott.
