The hike
After leaving Le Moutherot and its vineyards, the walk leads to another emblematic site in the Val Marnaysien, also linked to its winegrowing past: the formal garden of Château de Jallerange. This private site was designed in 1771 on the initiative of Claude Nicolas Marcellin Seguin de Jallerange. Today, it is considered one of the most exact and charming in Franche-Comté, with its glacis, pond, amphitheatre, cool rooms...
